    Default Great Granddaughters' D9P

Here are a couple of Disappearing 9 Patch quilts that I made for my Great Granddaughters, ages 5 and 2. I have made the D9P before, but when using different fabrics, they all tend to blend together without rhyme nor reason. When I made these, I placed the white blocks strategically as Row #1: white in the center, Row #2; White on left and right and Row#3; White in the center. Once they are cut and resewn, their pattern emerges and I just love the clarity of the design.

One was made with batiks and the other was made with pinks, raspberry and sherbet. Thank you for looking :-)
