Default Great tool for squaring up quilt top

Picked this steel framing square up at the hardware store, very nice for squaring up, and inexpensive! Much easier than using 2 rulers.

I like to use my carpenter's square for squaring corners of my quilts. I like the longer length than you get with the typical square ruler.

I never square up my quilt tops. I just bind them off as is. But, I have never done an on-point quilt and will keep this tool in mind. Thank you for sharing. It's always nice to get a tool that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Also, I have never put my quilts in a show. They are purely for my home use only.
