    Default Green and Pink Pinwheels

Over the New Year's weekend, I pieced 5 donation quilt tops. Now I am getting them quilted and bound. This one started as a stack of 40 HST's. That translated to 10.5 pinwheels... not enough. So I took the leftover 2 HST's and made hour glass blocks and built them out. I wished I'd found a 'milder' green in my stash, but it is what it is I hope to finish 2 more this afternoon so they can be delivered tomorrow morning.

That's a unique way to make it a little bigger! I usually just add borders, but this turned out beautiful!

You’ve been busy...good busy! Very clever to add those hourglasses to make it work. All wonderful quilts, and your charity will surely be able to use them, especially with the cold weather. Just impressive results.
