Default Growing Up Odd flimsy finished

This quilt is based on the Growing Up Odd quilt and is my first real 100% total scrappy quilt. I did make a scrappy swoon quilt earlier this year but it was "controlled scrappy" with only 3 colors. This was 100% outside my comfort zone - I like to plan everything out and for this one I just winged it.

    Contains a total of 1,515 1" squares
    454 white squares
1061 unique non-white squares (NO DUPLICATES!!!)

I love it and it was definitely a fun trip down memory lane as I selected fabrics for it but I am so glad it's finally done. Took much longer than I expected and I'm ready to move on to something else.

my oh my! 1" squares that is amazing and that they are all different! I have used 2" squares for scrappy quilts but never had one that didn't have any duplicates. I like your scrappy that's for sure and l could see one like this in my future but in 2" or 2 1/2" as get many squares of that size when cutting up my scraps. Thank you for sharing the picture of your quilt. It came out great.

So worth your time and effort! It looks great, and after quilting will look even better. This pattern has been on my bucket list, but with 2" or 2.5" squares. I have tons of both! Thanks for sharing yours. Hope you'll show it again after quilting.
