    Default Hawaiian Dolphin and Turtle Quilt

    I'm finally done with my Hawaiian wall quilt! It's the first needleturn applique I have ever done-- I wanted to challenge myself. I hand quilted it too, and it's also the first quilt where I hand sewed the binding down. So except for sewing the binding to the front, it's all handworked. Feels pretty amazing to have completed it. It's a pattern by the Pacific Rim Pattern Co. (Pics are a bit grainy... I think my camera battery needs charging.)

    Gee, that had to have taken a long time to make. I love the colors. The whole thing would have been a huge challenge for me. Thanks for a look at a very pretty quilt.
