Here is my heart rag quilt that I made for St. Valentine's Day this year. It is reversible, has blue kittens on the back. I said I'd never do another rag, too messy and I keep sewing it with right sides together istead of wrong sides. ha Since then I have made 4 more rags. But am using fleece now instead of flannel. So much easier and no fraying at all. Just take smaller seams and it does curl some. I need to make one for my Dr. before my August 12th appt. Have the fleece, just need to get on it.

Looks nice. I have made one - gave it to my grand daughter. She keeps saying the rag side is the wrong side and turns it over. :D

I LOVE it!! There is nothing more cuddly/comforting than a ragged flannel. My grandmother could never understand about the rag side being the top.

It's lovely, but like you, I think the bits would get to me. The fleece idea sounds more my cup of tea.
