    Do both in the same quilt. No rules, its just what you like best. Both are very pretty blocks.

    My vote goes to D9P. It seems to spread out the different sized polka dots. Love the fabrics.

    the disappearing 9 patch is much more interesting.
    You could really jazz it up with an interesting border
    that has those colors in it. My vote - D9P.

    Has anyone ever done a D9P in Batik? I have some batik fabric and wanted to see what it would look like to do the D9P. Possibly for a baby Quilt..?
