Default Help I can't decide Boarder or no boarder????

I have been working on this quilt from swap fabrics that I got from LuvTooQuilt's 10 1/2 swap, Yosamitesa 6 1/2 swap and SheriR Candy Swap. Just finished and it measures 88 x 88....I can't deside if I want to put a 4 inch boarder of something on it or not.....What do you think? HELP!!! LOL

Either way - it is quite a great looking quilt - I am tending to go without borders - as that is the new 'modern' alternative for my scrappy quilts.

That is amazing! I think either would be fine. It'll be really big with a border! It's gorgeous just as it is.

I usually always say yes to a border, but this one looks perfect without one IMHO. Love your quilt.

Nice quilt! I am a border person...especially on such a busy design. A border frames it like a mat and frame do on a picture. JMHO.

If it were mine, I'd do a solid/marble narrow inner border and not too busy print for outer border that is larger than the inner border. You've got lots of color options. Try laying some fabric out in different combinations and see what you think before you commit.

That's beautiful! If it were mine, I'd go with NO border.

My opinion: It's beautiful and doesn't need borders unless you want it larger.
