    I think if you used both 1 and 2 in a quilt it would look great.

    I like #3 too. More contrast makes for a more interesting pattern!

    I must say I like them all that is a hard choice, you can
    make them all different if you would like.

    My vote is for #3.......I am doing a king size one using this method, with dark blues, dull reds, and a tannish gold (real americana colors) for my daughter..........and that is the design that she picked out as well.

    Valerie, I would use all 3 blocks. It seems like you need to alternate light borders on the outside sections of the blocks.

    The fabrics are very pretty, and blue is my favorite color.

    What kind of sashing? How big do you plan to make this quilt?

    Keep us posted on the progress.
