    this is an old hem gauge..

    My mom has a hem gauge just like that! She did many a hems on my dresses with it.

    I haven't ever seen a hem gauge like that. Pretty cool. Also you quilt is very nice

    I have a hem gauge just like that. I put it out on our last yardsale, but no one bought it! I dunno how to use it...LOL!

    I have one of those..well, the base is a bit different. Mine has a little pin cushion on it but otherwise it's the same. Didn't think I was quite that old...lol
