    Default Here's what you helped me make!

    Gave myself the treat of stopping at several quilt shops on the way up to the cabin last Friday. (We're still up north!) The old truck panels were calling my name, and I just knew I had to make them into a quilt for my father-in law as he has restored 5 vintage trucks & cars. Once I got the new needle in my 301A, I was off! Thank's for your help!

    Mine loves his Silverado. Tends to keep them for 10 plus years. Hates to let them go and buy a new one. Hugs

    That is beautiful. Good idea for some navy fabric I have left over from my sons quilt. How big are your blocks?

    Truck panel pieces were from fat quarters. I used a sheet of very large calendar paper, measured, and created a template to get all the panels sized the same. I believe they ended up being about 18" x 21" (I've got the quilt in a bag already for giving to df-in-law). Finished quilt covered the top of a traditional full-size bed with just a smidge draping over. (f-in-l. has a twin size bed.)

    I am sure your df-in-law will love it. I love the fabric and how you put the quilt together. I also love the beautiful view of the lake there.
