    Default Horse Panel Quilt Top

My granddaughter loves horses and all horse-related things. A few years ago we were chatting and she wished she could have 100 horses. Since then, I've given her horse earrings, cards, phone trinkets and many other things "horse". I figure this quilt will add another dozen to the count. When beginning this project, my plan was to quilt it myself, but in trying to manage the size of it just as a top has made me decide to send it to a longarmer. It's about 90x108" - much too big for my husband's arm spread.

WOW, what a gorgeous horse quilt, I am sure she will love it forever. I like how you fenced in the horses in the middle of your quilt. I think I like horses now, too.

I love the lattice...looks like a fence! This quilt inspires a feeling a peace and shows the beauty of horses! She will love it!

I just love the way you are fulfilling her wish of 100 horses. This is one of the prettiest panel quilts I have seen. I hope your LAer can expand on the horse theme. I would quilt a galloping horse in the grass rectangles that are above and below the panels and also appear on the sides.

What a wonderful grandmother you are! And what a lucky girl she is! I was also horse crazy when young and would have loved it had someone made this for me. It's beautifully done!
