    Default Horse quilt finished!

    Finished and delivered!
Fabric; Northcutt panel and a few other Northcutt fabrics + stash
    Pattern; none
Batting; Hobbs Tuscany Collection poly with a soft cotton layer added under the panel to define the horse's muscles.
Backing; From stash - the purchaser thought it needed some blue. It is a birthday gift for his mother.
FMQ; Outlining of the horses and following the contour of the muscles. Remainder; whatever - mostly twirling ropes, but flowers and spirals thrown in.
    Binding; Charisma's two color binding.

Not sure I'm a fan of the lastest Northcutt fabric. Silky feeling, which a love, but very thready and it snagged easily, which distorted the print. It doesn't feel right to using a permanent marker on an undone quilt. I'd better get used to it - I have several more panels. Why did the pictures rotate? Well done! I hate it when a thread pulls on a dark fabric and I have used a sharpie to recolour a spot.

Your quilt is wonderful. Thank you for furnishing all the information. It is such a help to know what materials, patterns etc. people use. Quite amazing that you did those braids without a pattern. Someday I will try them.
