Default How to quilt this little fairy?

I found this collection of Michael Miller’s Fairies in my stash and decided to finally put it together. It included the panel and several FQ of fairy dust. Now my quandary is how to quilt it! Would love to be able to use my walking foot instead of FMQ Any suggestions?

I would love to FMQ all the features in the quilt top but if you want to go with your walking foot, I might do the straight lines down the top spaced about 1/2 to 1 inch apart. For me straight line quilting or an all over meander read as a non pattern. They both add texture but don't distract from the pattern or piecing. Cute top!

I would outline the fairy, big flower heads, and single straight line stitches on the grass. I would then do an allover pattern on the side fairies including the borders. Outlining does not have to be exact.

I did a similar one. I did a lot of outlining and accenting of the fairy and surrounding

Using invisible thread, I'd do lots of out lining of the fairies and main flowers.
Then I'd do the background with swirls or grids. As far as walking foot - haven't tried that method yet.
Good luck!!
