    My husband is a lot like yours. He will hang a quilt wherever, whenever I ask him to. We have a staircase like that, too. He does photography and we put pictures of his going down the stairs. Looks great. But there is still all that wall that goes all the way up to our second story down to our basement that really could use something there. We talk about trying to put a large quilt or several smaller ones like you did. I just cannot figure a safe way to get him up there to hang them. Any suggestions?

    Ours is not tall. No ladder needed. Sorry.

    great idea! it does look like a gallery, and you don't have to worry about sunlight exposure. Wonderful!
