    I sewed the binding onto my Puffin quilt. After the machine sewing the first time, I realized I hadn't made it wide enough to fold to the other side. So, I left it (the blue) And then I added a litttle bit wider binding, in gold. I just left the blue as a sort of decorative touch.
    Sometimes it's just easier to change the plan, than to rip it out

    (I bought some puffin quilt fabric when we went to Alaska 3 years ago. I think I must have been one in a previous life. They swim in the ocean, eat, and then can't fly again until they poop, otherwise they're too heavy! I've had that feeling before, eat so much I can't move)

    I like the inner border. I use them a lot myself, kinda like a 1/2" inner border on a pillowcase. Like the accent and contrast.
