Default Inside of Fall Fabric Basket

As requested, here is a pic of the inside of my fabric box. I stitched down the inside flap, however, you can't really see them. I just folded them to the side. I measured down 2 1/2" to create the flap. I couldn't find pumpkin buttons that I liked, but I found these flowers and stacked them with another little button. I also picked up some stiff interfacing to add to the next one to make it more rigid. Now they are ready to fill with cookies when I return to work on Tues.

Thank you for posting this. I just made one of these tonight but I used sewing machine fabric. I like your fall fabric, I think I will make my sister one with the fall fabric I have. Thanks for the inspiration.

Your basket is adorable! I have not made any as I wasn't sure how I would like the 'wings' inside the baskets....... for those of us [or just me] who are not quit getting the sewing down, did you sew them down with the machine or by hand??? It's getting late and I think I'm just getting myself more confused.

I stitched the flaps by hand. I think it took longer to sew the flaps then to put the entire piece together.

So far I've left all mine as "wings", but I cheated a little bit. Instead of hand-sewing them down, I used a dab of glue from my hot glue gun! (I hate hand-sewing!)
