    Thanks Everyone...
    The jars do make great placemats......and the fun thing about this pattern is that you could to them for different seasons - jars of Christmas Candies.......or for children - bug jars.....etc....

    I like your place mats. I made a large queen size quilt using the jar pattern. The quilt has a skinny border of green grass with black ants. My DD said we needed ants to eat the crumbs that might drop.
