Default Jean's Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

I made a quilt for a woman I worked with in 1976 in Massachusetts. We haven't seen each other for 35 years. She became a grandmother for the first time last year and I wanted to make a quilt for her first. But after a long period of trying to find the "right" quilt pattern, I discovered I couldn't do it because I didn't know her daughter. So, I decided to make a lap quilt for the new grandmother, my old friend Jean. Here is a pix of her with her beautiful granddaughter enjoying my gift. I hope you enjoy too.

What a nice gift for someone who truly means something special to you. How sweet that grandma and grand baby are snuggling underneath your gift of friendship and love. Congratulations to her on becoming a gram too!
