How did you come by the name of Kingston WA square? Was that the real name of the pattern or did you just name it for the unique little town? I love that little town. I live in Port Orchard so not that far away.
    BTW, I love the quilt!
Also love that little quilt shop there in downtown Kingston!

The owner of the quilt shop had just sold it last August when I was there. She - or a colleague designed it -- Kings Crown + town square -- Kings town = kingston square.

I hope the new owners are still there -- They had 2 samples on the wall -- one in darkershades -- like this one and one in what I call Florida colors -- yellows, tans, light shades.

It isn't the easiest to assemble -- not too many strip cutting and piecing -- with half and quarter square triangles.

I do like the overall effect.

she did it in light bright green, and Caribbean aqua shades. Their web site was kingstonquiltshop.com It may have changed with the new owners. It was right by the ferry terminal -- and we waited for about half an hour for the ferry. The blackberries by the side of the road were ripe and we picked and ate until the ferry came. Sweet and jucy !!!
