Default LA practice. On a donation quilt

I work one day a week at a quilt shop and the owner graciously lets employees use the LA. I'm definitely in skill building mode. I played with fillers on this one yesterday. Great fun but consistency needs more practice time.

The blocks are a variation of the MSQ method of making HSTs. Use one 4 patch block and one neutral. Sew around all sides and then slice with an X.

Very nice quilting. Looks like a nice scrap buster project, I avoid making HSTs that way due to all the bias edges but you did a very nice job.

How fun your quilt is! It sure is nice of the shop owner to allow you to practice on her table.
