Cool Labrinth - my riff on Shirt Stripe Boxes by Kaffe Fasset

I made the quilt "Labrinth" for my DH based on the 'Shirt Stripe Boxes' pattern (3", 6", & 9" squares).
    • Fabric: 2 FQ bundles of woven stripes (about 20-24 different striped fabrics)
    • LA quilt pattern: 'Triangle Meander' done by Patched Works in Elm Grove, WI
    • Batting: Warm & Natural
    • Back: a perfect ugly metallic 1970’s style print
Although not the largest quilt I’ve made, this quilt was the MOST work. It is also one of the most satisfying as far as results. I’d like to try this again sometime with some actual striped men’s shirts.
I also took a note from the Kaffe Fassett quilt books & photographed the quilt in natural light. Enjoy & thanks for looking!

Great quilt and cutting stripes or border prints are very fun to work with!

Love it. I have admired that pattern in Kaffe's book and can't wait to try it some day. You did a marvelous job with it.

Love your color choices and placement. It's a beautiful quilt - will have to look up that pattern.
