Default Little House on the Prairie Doll Quilt

This is a little doll quilt that I recently finished using Jackie Reis' "9 Patch Blessings" pattern in a scaled down form. It is 21" square. For the border I have used Andover's Little House on the Prairie logo fabric, which is a bit too small to see on my picture clearly. I am currently finishing a similar quilt in twin size and will post pictures when it is finished.

Jackie Reis was a local resident, and she designed several quilt patterns. I am amazed at how her patterns go together. If you follow her instructions for cutting, sewing, and pressing on this one, all of the seams will naturally nest, and it isn't complicated. She has retired and moved away, but I will be interested in seeing how many of my fellow guild members recognize the pattern using the smaller scale.

That came out adorable. Miniatures are a bit of a challenge.

Nicely done. Did you use strip sets to subcut or did you cut a lot of bitty pieces? Either way, it worked for you and this is a sweet use of the fabric line.

RST, they were strip sets. Jackie wouldn't have it any other way! Even with strip sets, tiny was challenging. The blocks are all the same 9 patch, but turned different ways systematically.
