Very, very nice. I'm sure the little ones will love them. I love rag quilts they are so soft and cuddly. But my washer won't handle the washing of them, I have to take them to the laundry.

I think that starched flannel is very easy to work with! My cut squares stacked and "held" for quilting with no pinning necessary. I like shortcuts!

Thank you, now how do I starch them. I have never heard of this.

First, I wash and dry my flannel. Then I just spray,spray,spray the whole piece (or what I am using of it) with a solution of Sta-flo liquid starch and water (1:1). Some quilters submerge the fabric in the starch/water solution. Spraying works well enough for me. I then tumble the starched piece in the dryer till it is just damp, then I press, trying not to stretch the piece out.
