Log Cabin & Leaves

This is the 2nd quilt I have made for my brother. He has the perfect house for quilts and did not have any, so I felt the need to fix that for him :-) This is a twin size at about 50 x 71 inches. I got the pattern off the internet (free) but the actual name escapes me right now. All the fabric I used was from my stash-Yeah! I really enjoyed making it and he really liked it!

Love it. The color assortment is terrific--and I like how the shadow on the fence enhances the black in the quilt. I also like the leaves, and the border that is straight lines close together. That really gives it a lot of texture. Lucky brother you've got.
