    I think it is stunning, and don't see what you call an "oops" at all! Makes for a very interesting log cabin, and your quilting is amazing.

    Some of the best designs are because someone made an "oops". No one would ever think you made a mistake on this one. Well done.

    I think it's beautiful & so will your DIL, you can sew logs togeather any way you'd like & yours are great.

    You quilt is beautiful just as it is. Who said you have to start with the dark in the middle. Not me. lol It looks great and anyone would be proud to get it. It's not a mistake, but a happy accident!
