Your quilt is absolutely lovely. I can't imagine anyone would know that you made it backwards. I'm not sure there is a wrong way to make log cabins, is there?

    Regardless, I love it!

Your quilt is beautiful..the reason I love the Log Cabin.. is you can do it anyway you want too..there are patterns for 1/2 one way and the other 1/2 opposite..I don't use a pattern often..but there's no limit what you can do with this design!!

I love this quilt. If you hadn't said the lights and darks weren't as you had planned, know one would have known. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I love the way the lights frame the center and the border is perfect. There really no rules you know. She's gonna love it.

It's beautiful the way it turned out. Looks planned to me! No one but you (and now us, of course) would know you meant to do it any other way!

Why is it an "oops"? I think it's great!

It is lovely. I am not a log cabin fan, but the placement of the lights makes it so pretty. IMHO, this was a great oops!

This is great. I really don't see a problem. For those who need to be perfect , it may be a problem. I love it. The colors are great. Keep it and don't worry is my advice.

[i] I'm going to keep pictures of this so I can duplicate your "mistake." I'd LOVE to make a mistake like that, Lynne, it is just gorgeous. No one would ever know it wasn't totally planned. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
