I was asked yesterday to make a memory quilt for a friend's mother who is dying. She asked me to add the names of all of her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren to it the family wanted something to send with her to her final resting place. I have had 2 days of sadness in making this for the family and was very honored that they thought of me to design it for them

Beautiful tribute to this lady and her family. What is the round emblem at the top of the quilt?

It is an angel with Proverbs 31:25 on it "Strength and honor are her clothing and she shall rejoice in time to come."

Great quilt, and I like how you worked all the names into the quilt! Just so lovely! Great job!

I used the Chain Signature pattern from quilterscache and then used my embroidery machine to embroider all their names in the center.
