want to get finished asap to get rid of the messsssss. Baby is due in Feb, this is the follow-up of my earlier post. I have taken the quilt off from the quilting machine and now am trying to applique flowers on the back. Still trying to find the perfect stitch. I have 2 more big flowers and a butterfly to put on the 'flower garden'. I used invisible thread to quilt on the big machine. It went great, I couldn't believe my luck. The quilting doesn't show up in the pictures I quilted around the diamonds and the centers and each center has a small design in it. The outer green border is like a swirl and the lavender edge is flowers.

The colors are great I love the quilt. Have a question did you quilt it on a longarm? I have looked at Minkee fabric not sure how the quilt designs will look. Saw one that a lady did on longarm but the stitches just stood out didn't blend well it was in reg thread not invisible thread. Mabye thats the answer...

The stitches standing out is what I LIKE about quilting minkee and fleece. I don't think there is a way to "hide" them. I doubt invisible thread would make a difference, because minkee and fleece are puffy and "hairy"...the thread would pull down the puff and "hair" and make the stitch stand out.

Great I'm going to make one out of Minkee but I have a nine patch top ready think I'll but robe fleece on the back. I love your stitches on the pic, it look very neat & clean.
