    Default Mish Mash Table Topper

I belong to a quilting group and one of our projects was for each of us to bring 1 yard of batik fabric. Then 7 of us stood in a circle & cut it in half, kept one half & passed the remaining 1/2 yd to the person of our right. Then we took the piece we were given, tore that in half & passed the rest to the person on our right. That continued until we had 7 different fabrics, all different sizes, the smallest was about 4” x 4”. We had to use all those fabrics to make a table topper, runner or placemats. We were only allowed to add 1 more 1 yard piece. The little yellow piece in the centre was the smallest piece. It was a challenge to come up with an idea. This is what mine looks like. Still have to sandwich & quilt it.
