    Default My 1st baby book

Needed a baby shower gift quickly that I'll pop into the mail tomorrow. Need to be moving my daughter on the day of the shower. Had extra flannel for a receiving blanket (MSQC self binding & mitered corner blanket on u-tube) as we had made some of these last winter for new babies in our church. The book fabric I had on hand, with the idea that some day I'd be making those for grandchildren. It's the first time I attempted putting one of those together. It's not perfect, but I would definitely do it again. Fun project. The new mom-to-be is a teacher & reading specialist, so I think this will do nicely.

That looks good. I bought a panel to make a book and have been a bit hesitant now I am happy to proceed seeing yours. Well done.
