    It is indeed an awesome quilt. I love the stained glass look. The backing fabric is beautiful. .

    Do you sew the black stripe to the "logs" before you sew them onto the block? It's very nice, I love stained glass type designs in all crafts.

    When I was in grammar school my best friend, Denise Doud, was a really fantastic artist, and as I look back on it, I realize that her "style" was to make all her drawings look like stained glass. At the time, there were probably few to none of us who'd ever even seen stained glass, so we all thought she was the most amazing artist, ever. Lol, she used up all her black crayon when ours were still brand new. I wish I had some examples of her work. Sigh. Her family moved away, and I don't know where they went.
