They are the cutest bonnets I have seen. Good job. Are they panels or appliqué ?

I always love to hear the miracle stories of the storm. Your quilt is beautiful and now I'll have to add this one to my list. My three sisters and my Mom all lost their homes/belonging in Katrina, so I understand how you felt when you found that quilt, still in one piece and salvageable. Thanks for sharing your story and quilt.

HOW BEAUTIFUL,I AM SO SORRY YOUR SISTER LOST EVERYTHING BUT THE QUILT,IT IS SAD NOW BUT GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.

What a beautiful quilt and a wonderful story! I have never heard of bonnet girls before and I love them! I looked at the site and bookmarked it. I would love to make one some day, if I live long enough that is!!
