    Default My convergence quilt

Just completed! From Ricky Tims book. Interesting process for quilt. Uses 4 squares of fabric which are then cut into different widths, rearranged, then sewed back together.

I have started to like more modern looking style of quilts then traditional. Your quilt is very nice.

It has a modern look that would make a good guy quilt, for my older CASA guys. Jenny Doan and Brita make big blocks, then they are re-cut, making it look like you pieced all those small pieces. My grandmother and many more started with those little pieces. What would they think of the easier piecing in this age.-lol
I just realized someone gave me this book with all the wild colors. The colors you used makes it easier to read. Thank you for showing what can be done with solids. Looks great and I can appreciate the process more now.
