What a beautiful Daughter: U R so Blessed. Her skirt is wonderful. NOw that she has this project done she will continue the creative road to quilting. I love to see young girls take such an interest.

What a wonderful connection you are building with your daughter. She loves what you do and that she is also sewing and quilting, you will have a common interest to last a lifetime. Adolescents is a tough time, you are building a wonderful bond that will bridge the difficult times that might surface in the teens. I hope you can take her to some quilt shows to admire the art of others too. I have a daughter that doesn't quilt, but loves the quilts I make her. She loves helping me pick out fabric and provides input on quilt patterns. She too gives me great joy and she is now 33.
