    You are all so sweet! Thank you for the nice compliments. First, I found the machine embroidered lambs at a craft show 5 to 10 years ago! I just made the pattern up to fit the size to the lamb squares and not get too big so I could us the gray toile as the backing. I had just enough. The pattern I saw had a scalloped border. I wish I could have done that. After the baby shower I found out the other grandmother is also a quilter (I was unable to attend) and had made a quilt. My gift was the fabric cut into strips and a note saying they had to return the package and it would be returned after she was born as a quilt. I had it in the mail the next day.

    I love redwork and your quilt is stupendous!!! the lambs are adorable and love all the red/white fabrics!
