    Default My First Scrappy

Usually I'm pretty controlled when making a quilt, so doing this was quite a departure for me!
I was sick from work for a few days and had nothing to work on...looked at all those blues and reds in my stash and decided to just go for it. Must say, it was kind of fun to cut loose a bit.

I will free motion this one and it will go to Project Linus as a "Tween" size.

Nicely done. Have you thought of crosshatching this quilt. The only thing you will need to mark is the border. I use a Hera marker by Clover to mark my crosshatching lines.

    Might be fun to try.

Good job on stepping outside of your comfort zone with this project. It's nice to "stretch" sometimes. I really like the color combination.
