Default My Flannel Yellow Brick Road

I made this for my stepdaughter. It is flannel top and back with poly batting. Large lap-size and quilted in a grid pattern. The back is an ikat print flannel.

The second quilt is for donation--I made it while I was waiting for the YBR backing to wash and dry and while my glue basting dried. Again flannel top and back and poly batting.

I love the quilting on the first one. Yes symmetrical lines but if you would've stitched in the ditch (like I always do) it would've turned out looking totally different! I love it all around, top and quilting...

A very pretty, cozy looking quilt. I have that pattern and this inspires me to give it a try. I like your idea of quilting too. The second little quilt is adorable and some small person will love it

AngeliaNR, nice flannels. I really like the quilting in the first one also. But, I'm a sucker for patchwork. So LOVE the second one as well.

Angelia, these are beautiful. Your quilting on the Yellow Brick Road is perfect! The fabric is great too. I like the patchwork also....patchwork quilts are always pleasing.
