Thank you all for your wonderful responses. I miss my husband and mother very much, but life must go on. Thank you for your kind words regarding my grief. Have a wonderful day, week, month, year, life. I think that covers it all.

It is Wonderful! I love a quilt that makes you look closer and explore its treasures.
Be good to yourself and take time to heal. Let others take care of you for awhile.

That is the most awesome quilt and applique I believe I have ever seen. I would surely be in seventh heaven, if anyone had ever made such a quilt for me. It is wonderful. Of course living near the ocean a good part of my life makes it even more special, than it would be anyway. I really love this quilt. In my mind I see you working on it. What a special job you did. Thanks so much for putting this on here for me to see. It is great.

You certainly are an artist! You did a fantastic job at this art quilt. I think the coins will really add anther special touch. What a special gift!
I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband and mother.

This quilt is amazing. My mother collected fabric for years and was going to make the same theme for me someday. Mom is not with us now and it killed me when we donated her fabric stash. Great job so far.

For whatever this is worth to you in your recent loss, I wrote this a few years back

    Oh Say ...Did You Hear
    (C) Vickey Stamps

Oh say did you hear how the angels sang
as all the bells in heaven rang
as the Lord Of Hosts stood up to say
    "Another angels flown home today!
Earth took the loss and heaven the gain.
Here will be joy...no sorrow...no pain."
So say did you hear how the angels sang
As all the bells in heaven rang
