    Default My Grandlambs' Quilts

For my five-week old grandtwins, a boy and a girl, I finally finished these quilts. I made them similar, but different. His has snowball blocks, while hers has X's and O's. The focus fabric is the same and is called Cotton Tale Farm--Sheep Cloud, by Timeless Treasures. I designed the top of each quilt with my favorite blocks (pinwheels), the bindings match, and the flannel backings match the regular cotton lamb fabric on front. His is more densely quilted with clouds, hers is a bit fluffier.

    I forget the exact measurements--something like 48x56.

I like how they turned out, and the parents were very happy with them. (My DIL is a novice quilter, and so far has only tried strip quilts, so she is impressed by more piecing. Bottom line is--she appreciates the work that goes into quilts.)

Oh, phooey! I forgot to hold my camera horizontally for the pictures to post correctly here.

Those are so sweet and I know those babies will love them. Wish I could get my hands on those little ones. I so miss having babies around. ❤️
