Healing takes a LONG time. Be patient with yourself and know that the deep pain goes but the memories stay with you a lifetime. This quilt is a wonderful tribute to a relationship that obviously was very special. Each time you use it or look at it you will remember a good memory. That can't be bad at all.

Jeananne, Your husband is with you with every stitch you add to this beautiful quilt. I planted a rose bush in my DH's favorite shade of purple and tended it, trimmed and fertilized it in his memory. It's been 13 yrs. now and I have wonderful memories of our time together and so will you as time passes.

    Hugs & Prayers,

You have given me some inspiration to get going on my quilting again. That is a gorgeous quilt...I am with your late husband...I love sunflowers and I love your sunflower fabric.
We lost our oldest daughter almost a month ago and I just can't seem to get back into quilting yet. So now you have given me the boost I needed I think. Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilt. God Bless You.
