I am just starting to sort thru scraps to do a Log Cabin, the paper piecing way. I have done one Log Cabin variation which was fairly easy ( I am not one to grasp some patterns, and for the life of me, log cabins make me nuts! ) but I will stick to using PP where I marked an L and a D on the pattern to keep me focused on what colors go where, lol.. You did a beautiful job in the pattern, and the quilter did, too!
