Default My Mom's UFO in progress...

This is a quilt my mom has been working on for years!! I don't know the exact year she started, but I'm thinking it's been at least twenty years ago. She was making this for my older sister, and my older sister wanted it hand quilted. Well, life got busy for mom, and she started working and the quilt got put aside. Mom and I made a list of our UFO's, and this was on the list, and mom has finally brought this up from the basement (where it has spent a long time in hiding), and she starting to hand quilt it again because she wants to get it finished! I think it's a beautiful quilt and I love her hand quilting in it. I hope whoever she ends up giving it to, can appreciate the hand quilting she did, because this is no easy task. I had to take pictures to show all of you, before mom put the hoop back on the quilt to work on a section!

Lovely quilt! Good for your mom to finish this beauty. Is your sister still interested in having the quilt?

Oh, my! It is beautiful and so much work on it. I hope whoever gets it will appreciate and respect all the work and time that has been put into its creation.
