I gotta admit, as I scrolled down the first picture, my attention was riveted by the canine in the corner!:mrgreen: So glad you included those beautiful baby's pictures!

Your new sewing room is FABULOUS! Those cabinets are beautiful closed or OPEN!

I have friends that come over sometimes to find that "perfect" piece that they need in their quilts. I love to share with my friends!!! I have also handed over fabs for friends to make quilts for Home of the Brave. It took two of my friends to help me unpack and put all these in the cabinets. One of them I went shopping with on Labor day and she remembered better than I did what I already had in my stash.

Ruth, it won't stay so neat for long!! I try to keep it somewhat neat so I can find things, but these cabinets are new and of course I wanted to start out organized!!

ooooooooooooooooh Gale!! Now THAT is a stash to be proud of!! What a beautiful sewing room you have!!! I just love your Cabinet set!! You certainly put them to good use I see!! you can view most of your stash at a great glance!!! I have a sewing cabinet very similar to yours only mine is brown. Unfortunately it has been in a U-Haul storage unit for the last four years.... I am still saving for my house.... hopefully this year or early next I will have a home for my sewing cabinet... You have inspired me on how I want to design my sewing room!!!

Wow Gayle that's beautiful! Did you allow yourself any room to grow?

Elizabeth, this is in my family room. I share the room with a couple computers, a fire place, treadmill(glorified quilt hanger) a couch and tons of books. Actually, at the moment because we had to remodel, most everything except the computers is still in boxes in the room. I don't have a whole lot of room to grow. I'm not sure where to put a design wall! But I like being where my DH and kids (if they are ever home) are when I am sewing. I do have quite a bit of it in the garage, stuff that I don't have to get to all the time. (the garage is the door you see on the other side of my sewing table) If I can ever get a long arm machine, which I would love to do, it would probably have to go upstairs in one of the bedrooms.
