When I started quilting, I had no clue what I was doing. A friend gave me a basic lesson on how to make a quilted tote and sent me on my way. I did a lot of blog lurking and looking around the internet. Here's my quilting history...

My first quilt was this kooky cow quilt for my grandfather. He was a cattle farmer during my childhood and I thought the fleece backing was adorable. I threw some FQs together, layered it pillowcase style (is that what it's called??), and gave it a fringe on the end. I was so tickled with the actual quilting.

The next quilt was a lap blanket for a friend who loves jungle. This time I was a bit more adventurous and did a diamond quilt pattern. I took me forever to chalk that out!

My friend was pregnant with a baby girl. I had purchased some beautiful roses strips off Ebay and decided to do a strip quilt for her. I used fleece again for the backing. I had to piece the backing so I used some extra strips to set it off.

A friend was moving and gave me a box of her scraps. I found some cool fabrics and made this pillow for a friend.

The front material wrapped around the top and bottom to the back

This is my favorite so far. I did a ragged edge Christmas quilt for my aunt. This is one of the easiest quilts I've ever done! I need to ask my aunt for a photo now that it's been washed several times.
