    i don't know the name of the pattern. but recently someone had started a thread asking what it is. it's very easy to draw, with either 2 or 3" squares [2.5 or 3.5" scraps]
    here's a drawing of the elements... the star points are rectangles the size of length 16-patch and the width of the 4-patch with snowballed ends that are half the width [plus seam allowances]

    Why is it that I look at your (or others) scrappy quilts and say that is so pretty! Then I try to make one and it just looks messy to me? Nicely done!
