    This was made in 1963 and I still have it and it has never been used.

    Seriously.

    Can you tell us more about it? Is it hand-quilted? Needle turn or raw edge?

    How much did fabric cost in 1963? ;)

    Yes it is hand quilted and needle turned. I believe I ordered this as a kit from Frederic Hersheners and don't remember how much it was. I did this as therapy for myself after my husband of only year and half was killed on his twenty four birthday. I had a 6 month old daughter who went to bed at 6:30 .

    That is beautiful. What a wonderful quilt. I can't believe it is your first.

    Beautiful. I would have never known it was from 1963. It's in great shape with "today" stitching.
