I've been wanting to try one of these Bow Tuck bags for a while, and finally spent the rainy Sunday we had yesterday doing one. I didn't expect it to be quite as big as it is, but that's not an unwelcome surprise. My current purse is way too small!

I bought this fabric on ebay, thinking of using it for kids stuff, but I love the bright colors enough to use it myself. What do you think? Too juvenile for a ... um ... mature woman to carry?

With all the colors, it seemed like I spent most of the time changing thread on the machine!

I like it and don't think it looks juvenile at all.

    That is cool.
Love the way you continued the elephants on the outside pocket.

    Great job!

I would carry this purse if it were mine.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

I think it's GREAT! I love the bright colors, and the various coordinating fabric.

I'v been meaning to ask where I would find this pattern, as I'd like to make a purse of this style for a trip we're taking to the Holy Land this spring. Is this 'bow-tuck' pattern a free pattern or can anyone direct me to a website where I can buy the pattern?

    thanks.
