    Default Needle turned appliqué UFO finished

    Just finished this needle turned appliqué is from a class I took while I was still working (retired 7 years ago) so very Happy to have it now displayed in my sewing room.

    Very nicely done. Only comment is I wish you had crosshatch the background to make the flowers pop. I love the colors of your flowers.

    Opps, I did but they are two inch squares ....better finished than perfect isn't that what we sometimes say
    Lol. When I was quilting the background ...I said to myself, Self could I have quilted the background first? Then I would have quilted smaller squares ...I had lots of end threads to hide doing it after. If anyone has quilted before the appliqué , please post I am interested in knowing.
