I've been on a major spring cleaning binge and this was on the list for today. I like to read or quilt at night when we watch tv and my light always bothers dh. This way I can still have the light where I need it but it won't shine towards him. We taped one cover on one night to make sure! I just cut the fabric to the size I needed, turned the edges under and used school glue and the iron to make them stay turned under and then glued the whole thing on the light. The covers are glass so if I need to change them or wash them the glue will come off. Not sure how long it will last but we'll see! eeww my bed is not really that dusty!
